Eclipse Hotels & Resorts International has developed its own distribution and central reservation system (Eclipse.CRS) for all its Hotels and Resorts for Global Product Distribution (GPD), Global Distribution Systems (GDS), Internet Distribution Systems (IDS) and Personal Distribution Systems (PDS).

Eclipse.CRS provides full connections to GDS (Amadeus, Sabre, Worldspan and Galileo) for the hotel industry, enabling independent hotels and hotel chains to distribute their products to more than 600,000 travel agent terminals and nearly 3,000,000 users.

Confidential Rates

Eclipse.CRS provides for the loading of confidential rates (negotiated rates, corporate rates, defined viewer ship etc.) for hotels on GDS, thus ensuring maximum utilization of this booking source. Hotels can then receive electronic reservations from their major booking source at contract rates.

Speed is everything

Eclipse.CRS is on-line with the GDS subscribers. 7 days a week/24 hours per day. Hotels that are represented by Eclipse.CRS are seamlessly (seamless – next generation), the highest possible connection mode in the GDS, connected. This means that travel agents receive instant confirmation of their booking requests and all information once changed in Eclipse.CRS is up to date in the GDS.

Internet Distribution Systems (IDS)

The unique combination of the Central Reservation Services and our internal e-commerce strategy under the Eclipse.CRS system expands the possibilities of the Global Distribution Systems connection to the Travel Service Providers and to the end-consumers using the Internet and its waste resources.

Through this combination, every Eclipse Hotel & Resorts is connected to more than 3,500 Internet Travel websites and their booking engines. These connections do include such Internet Power houses (amounting for more than 3 Billion US$ in Hotel Revenues booked worldwide yearly) as:

Travelocity, Expedia, Travelweb, Hotels, Priceline, TravelNow, WorldChoiceTravel, etc...

In addition to the above named main Internet travel sites, Eclipse.CRS connects their affiliated hotels to more than 3,500 Internet travel websites including but not limited to:

Travelhero.com, orbitz.com, Hotwire.com, hotelnet.co.uk, travelscape.com, cnnTraveler, travelscape.com and many more...

Personal Distribution Systems (IDS)

The advancement of technology has brought special attention to major international corporations and Travel consortia to build their own specialized travel service database. Eclipse Hotels & Resorts International in cooperation with Eclipse.CRS has responded to this challenge by implementing specialized versions of this functionality into their Eclipse.CRS distribution model.

Through the direct implementation of the Lanyon Vault Consortia Program, Eclipse.CRS will be able to apply directly with 90% of the worlds Consortia Travel Suppliers such as American Express Travel, Carlson Wagon-Lits Travel, Rosenbluth International etc.

At the same time every Eclipse Hotel can operate their own negotiated rate programs (corporate accounts) worldwide through the facilitation of the Eclipse.CRS "Corporate Access Codes" feature and give local and international corporations a cost saving way to book "their" special rates with instant confirmation via the Internet.
